Subject matter has great potential...

With some well-placed Jon-Stewart-like comments, this could have been a more comprehensive commentary on the state of the world. Your dope + capitalism = genocide formula is curious.

BioEthanol responds:

Yes i have to agree with what you said there and btw Dope + Capitalism = Genocide is a quote i saw on an old Black Panther Party poster.

A possible explanation to why this happens

Most of the users on this website are males between the age of 14 and 22 (http://www.newcommreview.com/?p=750)
, with a penchant for action-oriented flash movies. Which is why the abstract and experimental flashes are usually not received as well here. Just my observation.

HolyKonni responds:

Dude, thanks for the review, but I suggest you better not post links to other sites in the future when you're reviewing, 'couse mods will delete your account if you do.

Great potential there

Some awesome artworks... I like your style, especially the abstract/quasi-realism. It'd be great to have something with a more coherent plot from you!

davidstanley responds:

Give me some time, as I am working on an RPG/anime/adventure series. I'm really happy with it so far, but there is much more to do before it is ready.

Thanks for your review!

Nice background art

The effect is psychedelic and Impressionistic at the same time. I like it.

(Is the last scene viewed from the mirror? 'Cause there it's her right eye that's scarred instead of her left, as in the beginning.)

cris17 responds:

i have to admit yeah i messed up on that final part, i was drained from stress lol so i figured even tho i rewatched it alot to make sure there isnt a flaw that something would get past me.

Cute little flash

Yep, that's in a nutshell about how wars start (?)... in essence. The "dramatization" flashing at top left became unnerving after a while, but I like the Charlie-Chaplin-esque music choice.

Arch-Angel responds:

yeah I was gonna keep the "dramatization" up the whole time. but it started anoying ME too. I took it down eventually. thanks for the review. ^_^

Kinda random :-P

Is the pause in the beginning intentional? Just wondering.

bountyhunter219 responds:

Dear ModularBlues,

Thanks for the comment! Yes it was intentional, i wanted to set a sort of ambiance, and let the viewer know that there's nobody around to hear them, based on the quietness.

hahah

I expected something more sciencey from the title, but this was kinda amusing nonetheless.

KromusKaption responds:

Well- because of the rules it was hard to implement much content in 1 min, so i struggled with that- but im glad you found it slightly amusing :).

Love the concept

And great song choice too =)

Epitome of tranquility

It was very calming. :-) And really wonderful graphics too.

Nootilus responds:

Thank you very much. I'm glad you appreciated. I really like the way you qualified my work.

Probably belongs at albinoblacksheep instead

They have animutations that're more this style... which is seizure-inducing. Like the music though.

AubergineLock responds:

Pee Wee's Big Adventure theme.

Where the quantitative and the qualitative blend like watercolor, or fruit juice.
